About: Everything casual, nothing careless. Fitzhugh Brewing is father & daughter owned brewery in the heart of Dripping Springs. Located off the famous Fitzhugh Road more recently dubbed as “brewery row", the Smith family has owned the property for years. As locals watching the area transform over the years, they wanted to be part of the conversation and add a family-friendly, female forward brewery. The design brief was more or less "Lets make a Magnolia Table for beer" so I decided to focus the logo on capturing the iconic white farmhouse thats sits perfectly along the picturesque Hill Country winding roads and pair it with an approachable yet modern script. Compared to the more masculine/industrial typefaces you see in the area, we wanted Fitzhugh to feel more friendly and approachable. Supporting graphic elements like wild flowers, bluebonnets and horse shoes really capture the hill country essence and tie together the experience as you look out on the 3 acres dotted with Live Oaks and picnic tables. It feels like home, but with great beer.
